We have had our fair share of lessons over the years. Like the gate thing, we now bring pool noodles to cover the insides if we're pulling lots of branches through. This because one lady showed me some scratches we had made on an aluminium gate after pulling 7 dead ash trees out her back yard...
Obviously, if something were to happen we would make it right, with or without an insurance claim. Most clients understand this and understand that if we're removing huge trees on their property, some minor lawn damage will occur. It protects us from the people who want to blame us for every...
That valve went on us on our Bandit. I searched and searched at local hydraulic places and the cheapest one was from Bandit. Vermeer, on the other hand, seem to make a lot of proprietary parts, in my experience. They charge a nice coin for those parts. 600-700$ for a muffler on a s600 mini...
We don't use a crane very often, but we have a mini and we bomb wood when it's safer. I've included something like this in the estimate:
''ArborEco will do everything in it's power to minimize damage to our clients property. However, considering the nature of the work, certain damages can...
It's just cause I'm so strong ! Haha
Actually, the clutch is pretty hard to engage, I have to put some weight into it, but it does look easy in the video. I do want someone to service it at some point this year, just to make sure. The noise is best heard @ :31 and :38.
Bandit 90xp with SP111HP3 clutch. It's a 2007 that I bought in 2014 with 100 hours on it. Here is a video, you can hear the ''wonky'' noise best after I've dropped the motor back down to idle. It's alaways done this, never thought anything about it but I could very well be in the wrong!
Soooo, anyone running a 750 day in day out? Looking at one right now and would like insight. Marquis, you guys run a lot of Woodsman, how are they holding up?
Thanks Trevor, I think we chated onFacebook. If I do go ahead on this unit, I will surely need some insight. Figured starting a new thread for this would be redundant, but maybe it would be worth it....
We have a 7.3 Powerstroke in a 2000 550 and a Isuzu NRR 5.2 4-cyl turbo. They both pull our trailer with mini and spiderlift (total of around 8-9000 lbs) with a full load of chips.
I'd say anything under 30 inches that isn't sugar maple, is decently efficient. The biggest downfall is that the weight isn't put over the grinder wheel, like the 38 special, so it would jump alot. The greenwheel that we've been running for the last two years has helped alot with that.
We've...
