Dang that saw is small. It's nice to see the saw is equipped with a 3/8 chain that I can sharpen with a regular 4mm file. On the other hand... That Stihl bar and chain rock big time.

Mmmm, that's going to be a problem because there isn't. The oil pick up is just a hole in the side of the oil tank. That's why there isn't any oil flowing to the pump while cutting with the saw on the side.
Nope, I don't think so.
There are two things (actually three) to take into account.
0. A fourteen inch bar is way to much for what the machine can handle in the long run. No matter what Husqvarna US wants you to believe.
1. Drill out the oil hole of the bar. There's probably some metal that is...
Hà. Most of our post counts were 'stolen' from us in the forum software update a couple of years ago. And with Facebook in our online life it's going to take a while to get back to the original six thousand or so.
The best as in durability? Pfanner Gladiators. But since I was 'forced' into a pair of Husqvarna Technical Extremes these are my favourite.
These are like stretchy flannel pyjama pants compared to the forever clunky Pfanner Vents.
If you are talking about me... I wasn't.
I was inspecting my scalp! There's a non healing wound on my head since last summer (2014). The spot matches the exact location of the rivet.
Somehow this makes me wonder if there's anyone else with a sore patch on the head.

Hé guys, I know this is not vizor related, but there are a lot of Protos users here.
I have one of the first that hit the market. In my helmet there is a rivet in the top back of the helmet that keeps the webbing in its place. Is that only in the older versions or do all the helmets still have...
Mine has a beefed up chain. The one in the picture looks like a version two.
Why are they selling those. To me this feels like dumping gear to the ignorent. Gear they know that has been replaced (for a reason) with a beefed up version.

5 meters per second for the 18 volts Makita,
8 meters per second for the 36 volts Dolmar and now 20 meters per second for the Husqy. You bet ya I'm happy with the Husqy topper.
That was actually my very first battery saw about five years ago. After that came the bigger version of Dolmar and now for the last three years I'm stuck with the Husqvarna 536LiXP.
It's really nice to see how far the progress got us.
Mine is stored on a designated golden hook in the back of my purposely purchased Ford Transit Custom. Spared no expense.
Bloody hell! It's just gear to get the job done! [emoji12]
