Nope. Although, first time you get to the top you'll be unprepared. Have your lanyard ready and always leave about a foot of slack between the Wraptor and the branch you're over. You'll need that slack to disconnect and send it back down. Have fun.

The Shembiner is awesome! I've been in all positions and my saw has not left my side. Been through tight canopies and evergreens and it hasn't caught. Very simple and works great. Definitely worth the money!
I've buyer nearly vertical from the top to a tree to the side, directly to the side. Tension, but not a lot, and let her rip. The trunk cannot go beyond the side force to the opposite side unless something breaks. Works great for pines.
FYI, this seller is Ed Carpenter. A well known and very accountable person. My guess is he is on the road teaching. I learned a lot from the few seminars I attended. Ed is a busy man.
I cannot comment on the Palm issue, but I can say that this was a special order chipper with three sets of knives as opposed to two. It makes excellent chips in comparison to most models, including my new 255. Research that a little. Good luck either way.
