Did this today. Multi slings for torsion but stood them up. With careful cutting I still get to say “it’s all yours mate”. Damn English ivy covered cotton weed. Got a power kill to 31 homes for this. Only one phone call from someone bitching about it. Office just told them that 30 other homes...
I still prefer to balance my picks just because I love making the cut with little or no movement and telling the op “It’s all your mate”. But I have been in a lot of situations were the landing zone can’t handle the length that way or the many limbed trees would just take to long. When doing...
I still love seeing the set ups of this saddle. Some day I might have to Commision one built for me or I’ll learn enough about splicing to make my own. Honestly I’m happy for Matt and Endors on this endeavor. Endors is like my local bar except my wife doesn’t get mad at me when I hang out there...
Thanks Steve. And yeah I used the wrong term. I mean the manual extension. And am I correct telling him the manual extension rating is it’s rating even right at the truck?
I thought the jib for the head had a Fairly low rating. Maybe that is with the manual jib all the way in. I under stand radius and the boom angles. I just always thought the mek head had a low capacity at any radius because of the manual extension.
I’m just curious if anyone knows the rating for the jib on a PK62. I was talking with a new owner of one and he told me he was good for 5500 with the jib and saw head. Seems high to me
Im happy for Matt and Endor’s that you guys are loving the Valiant. Scott and Maria are great people. I’ve met Matt a few times prior to this but have actually had time to talk with him during this version of the saddle. Just a great dude to hang with. They all asked me to model one during the...
They’re in my neighborhood. I’ve done EHAP, Aerial rescue, and a Fids-n-fibers with them. I tend to lose an hour or so every few weeks by stopping in. Scott and Maria are great people.
Congrats @deevo. Glad you finally got your mek. You’re a much braver and bolder man than I for getting that rig without a cab protector. I know we just got off the phone but now it’s in print:birra:
I was looking for the bow down emoji but this one works as well. Hoping to see you again in...
