    i will use round chain when it‘s dirty wood time because i‘m faster at filling it on the jobsite. for filing my square chain‘s i prefer a vice and good lighting.

    462 and 362 weight almost the same, if they have a 462 get a 24 or 28 light bar for it and saw away :)

    has anybody tried barefoot shoes for climbing? vivobarefoot has some light climbingboots that might fit the bill for pruning.

    i use the metolius and black diamond 70 liter haulbags and prefer the metolius. the black diamond‘s are too stiff. i like stuffing everything in there haha

    thanks for sharing! like you said the scenario with two people climbing and one person on the ground sounded unusual to me. a friend of mine wanted to rig a small branch because the customer was worried about his rododendrons. he tied it on but made his cut infront of the knot sending his piece...

    i like my portawraps and my hobbs. both have their spot and i can negative rig just fine with both… did you loose a half wrap when you routed the rope over the top fairlead? i can see that happening and use the top fairlead only when i have a topstrap in place.

    is the xstatic newish? i found that with a new bone/new wear parts you need a new rope for the bone to perform. when it‘s worn in any old hank of xstatic will be gold…
