    Failed splices? Any evidence?....

A few days ago my 5/8 amsteel eye sling did something similar but not while in use... I went to grab the sling and the eye pulled out about 4-6” of the tail. Turns out my lock stitching broke. I reburied the tail and lock stitched it with para cord this time... I highly doubt that will break...

    Deciding on a new Sthil?!

I go from a 362 to 660 with no in between. The only thing is when climbing with the bigger saw a 461-2 would be a bit lighter. but its far from a priority on my list either....

What do you do when you show up to an agreed upon job and it's already done?

Awesome thank you and looking forward to it. I have walked off numerous jobs literally over dog shit :aburrido: how about leaky septic... I could go on. One of the worst in my book is the cars are parked directly in the way and no one has the key... or they aren’t awake yet. You knew we were...

    Deciding on a new Sthil?!

Haven’t run any of the newer saws, but I love my 660 I am running a 25” bar with 3/8RS chain mainly in hardwoods, but I can switch to 36” bar in 5 min for cutting big stuff. Never short on power and very well balanced with the 25” 28”, there a little nose heavy with a 32” 36” it can be good and...

Mitch when you get finished with that would you mind posting it... even if I didn’t hand them out it would make a great cheat sheet for me. I do my estimates out of a binder usually while doing a walk around with the client. I give them small packet 2 biz cards, a mini flyer, and our 4 page...

Steel shank lineman boots for tree climbing?

yes thats what were talking about ^^^ lot of work boots have them but not all are created equal. In the case of the hoffmans they use dbl/triple steel shanks for added support... I would believe any of the major brand name Linemans boots have a quality HD steel shank.

Steel shank lineman boots for tree climbing?

As far as footware goes I couldn't agree more. A++ on the Hoffmans. I have three pairs 1 pair 16" climbers and 2 pairs of 14" insulated caulks They are all by far best boots I've ever owned. The climbers offer the most comfortable spur climbing expeirence I've ever had. I have a 2 pairs...
