Re: neo throw bags
One positive thing about the Sherrill throwbags is the bright color. Everyone that has used on has to agree that they are super easy to spot will crawling trough the top on a big oak or elm!
Just bought a pair of Asolo Echo hiking boots. All I can say is they are great for treework. Great traction, stiff soles and comfortable. Check them out if you are in need of some new boots. Sierra Trading Post has them pretty cheap.
Our bucket guy came to us from asplundh after watching his forman die from coming into contact with the primary. Sorry to hear about your friend. Thoughts and prayers to his family from all of us in the Twin Cities.
I had a lady (neighbor) try to call the cops because I was trying to install a steel cable and the tree was about five feet from the lot line. Neighbors are wierd people. Rangerdanger, did she give the neighbor the ok to call or did he do it on his own?
Man, what a way to go! My grandfather called about six months ago telling me he couldn't get his old saw going. Told him if ya can't start it thats a pretty good sign to leave it be.
The red stop bar on the feed table of the 1800xl saved me from getting folded forward at the knees and going head first into the chipper! The stop gate and the green button suck at times but its there for our safety!!
Re: Climber dies on fairly good looking tree---VID
Pete i have also had the same problems! As far as the tree goes, a full tree inspection including sounding for rot should be done before anyone goes up!
Taylor, you and the rest of the twin cities cronies should get back to work!!! Just kidding, how did the oak prune with dirt go? I was hoping to make it but dirt doesn't know how to pick up a phone!!!
Re: Wasp attack to \"Am I evil\" Metallica
Wicked video my friend! Good thing that tail of your rope didn't suck thru your hitch huh! I got hit not to long ago by bald faced hornets and it sucks. Glad to see all is well!
Re: \"New\" throwbags
I have thrown both models now in the 10oz. wieght, but I still love my Rocket way more than the bag from Sherrill. I can't explain why i just do!
I just had a buddy fall about 30 feet and the only thing that saved his life was his helmet! It's cracked in half now but it's better than your head! For those of you that don't wear ppe i feel sorry for your wives, you should think about the loved ones and not just yourself!
Glad to hear all is well. What kind of chaps were they? I personally wear SIP comfort range pants almost everyday. It has become a huge comfort factor and the added padding on the legs is key, no more bruised and battered shins!
Sorry boys, day full of nerves, I was trying to say is tie in point blew out, or in otherwords the crotch he was tied into broke/failed causing the fall. Guess I should have pre-read my post!
