    This is the Akimbo

This is great news and as @John_KAYS said above, "you go above and beyond!" Just curious about the $100 gofundmes. The $300 funds were already gone when I hit the link.

I attempted to make my own but the magnets I found were not strong enough. It may be the ones you have will work. 95# sound like a lot. Not sure what the pulling force was for the magnets I found. In the end I went ahead and bought Mr. Mumford's 2 piece mag throw weights and have not been...

    Rope Wrench - Hitch/Rope compendium.

Is the biner on the other end of the e2e connected to something or just there for weight? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    TRT

Yes I have been using 2 foot ascenders and yes I do experience some rope shift with an ascender on each rope. I have been thinking of getting a hand ascender like the Climbing Technology Quick Arbor Ascender that can grab both lines to see if that helps. John, sounds like you have experienced...

    TRT

I finally had a chance to modify my RR. The 6001-2RS 12x28x8 bearings were going to require resizing the RR pulley axle so I used the 99R8 R-Series Radial Bearings which fit right onto the axle. A couple of 1/2" ID bearing shims I found at my local True Value are between the bearings and the...

    Learn to splice!

Kudos to Mark Przekurat & Jim Fiorentino and the crew at Shelter Tree! This was a great introduction to splicing and I want more. As promised above, it was a great experience, hanging out with cool people, well worth the cost of admission and even the extra hour of Massachusetts's traffic in...

Thanks for the encouragement. But I think God's work would be sorting out the MA debate in the limb walk thread. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    TRT

The common skateboard bearings, 608, are 8mm core, a 22mm outer diameter and a 7mm width. I think these will be too small. I am going to try the 6001-2RS 12x28x8 sealed ball bearing and the 99R8 R-Series Radial Bearing, Double Seal, 1/2" ID, 1-1/8" OD, 0.3125" Width and see how they fit the RR.

Than is a good idea and I will investigate. Do you think it is a single bearing or a pair of bearings.

    TRT

Now I know @oceans has the welding skills make a flat profile pulley for the RR and one made out of the right kind of wood as @moss suggested would be cool but i have wanting to find an off the shelf bearing to use on my own setup. So far I have not had the time to research this. Then today...

    TRT Workshop

Been looking into this and it is not so much the ticket cost but the 24 plus hours of travel time that give me pause. Any chance you and or Eric will do any workshops in North America?

    Rope Retriever

I like the looks of your household tri wire tip. It reminded me of double S hook in this video. At about 1:00 in this one it show using the hook to set and retrieve a throw bag.

    TRT

I was experimenting with this type of TRT set up and instead of a biner I was tried using an upside down tandem pulley. My thinking being to reduce the friction. Looking at the increases in force i am now wondering if this is the wrong approach. My next step was to order a double sheaved...
