If the new 2 strokes follow suit with the new technology as the vehicles have; they will never be better or flawless. What's going on decreases the durability and increases operational costs.

Bring it to n.e. ohio...we can trade and try it out! I agree...a read out helps dramatically in our business. I was at a demo here in ohio about 6 years ago where effer paid mr. Poor to come in and they said in a year or 2 effer would have a load cell available...haven't heard anything yet.
The tier 3 jd 173 hp manual suggested not letting the motor run longer than 5 minutes on idle...had to replace the entire motor this past winter for major coolant leakeage problems...of course just out of warranty. 14k later i'm hoping for another solid 5 years.
There is not an emergency cutoff on that unit... and the upper controls are low pressure down to the pedastal where they go into the main valve bank and are converted to high pressure which is then sent to the cylinders.
