Tough question, it depends on how powerful your computer is to edit. I prefer the resolution that has the most frames per second. Slow motion during and after edit is a lot smoother that way.
Porta wrap will pig tail just about anything. THT is straight up through and down.
Port-a-wrap "pig-tailing" is solved by alternating the direction of wrap with each new lowered piece. Pretty sure most guys know that though.
