Half the replies above can circumvent your questions, but the ideas are good.
I'd prefer "optional" but it would depend on whether planting is done most often by competent arborists or expert landscapers.
It should go without argument that stakes can be a waste sometimes. But requiring stakes...
I was impressed at how long the battery life is. Although, for the price it should be. I was also looking at Felco, but I could buy almost two Zenport for the price. On the other hand, I don't know if Felco work in the rain, sealed. The Zenport are not to be used in the rain. I got a decent deal...
Last autumn I bought some Zenport electric hand pruners for occasional fruit tree work. But it started with a mega wisteria arbor around a house that took days and days. My dominant or right hand feels the best it has in a few years, and I only need to use the pruners every few weeks or so. I...

I think the most important thing is to communicate to the language of the person hiring. If their language is "pruning" then pruning, if it's "cutting" then cutting, if it's "pruning" then pruning.
If we can speak 3 or 5 languages and still know the native tongue, we will sound smarter, whereas...
Been a nice winter this year. Plenty of rain and snow, but plenty nice for hiking and exploring. Here's a light dusting of snow in Jedediah Smith redwood park.
Your reply made me realize that I have posted very few photos here. Although this was titled for 2015 forward. This is one one of a few friends returning to the redwoods for the holiday season in a couple weeks. Maybe we will get a few more photos if the weather isn't freezing like last winter.
Thank you tnttree ...
Here's one in a nice patch of redwoods deep in the forest. A mother in Crescent City called and asked to have some high school senior photos taken of their daughter, so I drove to the coast a day and half early to enjoy some forest wandering.
