    That is not a motorcycle lol. Bid work all the time on mine. Have had 5 Triumphs over last 20 years but now riding an 07 Buell X12S Lightning. Prob. not a good idea to write off.

    N.eTree, mostly I use a running bowline and try to get the eye as small as possible to discourage slacking of the knot while hanging limbs if that is what you are referring to. Sometimes I add a marl for different reasons but including to absorb shock. Often I pre tie it on the top of the limb...

    Rather silly comment. Tree was planted less than 10 years ago and went in as a 12" dbh transplant. It has NO canopy die back. It has grown substantially. NO loose bark. How is the pict superficial? NO nails have been driven into the trunk....pretty silly comment.
