The Bob Weber says, “NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN DISMANTLE A TREE FASTER THAN ME…

One time I watched this documentary that was a series that spanned the globe. The Star/Reporter that traveled and uncovered mysteries of the ages was on a mission. He was told that someone in a remote mountain area had THE secret technique of martial arts. He took a plane across the seas, he...

Shame Oroboros, like a joke without a punch line. Sorry The Bob felt he had to go to his safe space. Bet he is one hell of a treeman tho.

Think I picked up on an old thread by looking at someone's "new posts". Oh well.

The Bob Weber says, “NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN DISMANTLE A TREE FASTER THAN ME…

So I spend 90 percent of my day (my life it seems) with a saw in one hand and cutting right thru a limb, and hanging it on my arm to drop, or tossing it while slice and dicing the canopy. Or cutting thru a big lateral stem chunk with one hand while my non saw hand is holding the end of the...

In any given greater vicinity with big difficult trees/td's there are likely less than a half dozen guys (no girls Frax) that do the hardest takedowns and there is probably not much to differentiate them in time and safe accomplishment of the job. All have their own evolved techniques. I have...

Here is another short video that might help those that are real arbs (unlike equipment salesman, "nice guy" TNT Dave Norgaard) that may have made the error listening to this hogwash and purchased a wheeled loader instead of a zero turn radius mini skid. It goes a little fast for those of you...

Not!.....What, were you in business for 10 years!? Mini s are best and yeah, you are not that bright. Indoor wood furnaces are best. Clam grapples are the best, and (thread title)...TX1000 are the best mini s. You get sick of Ballowe and the Turdhouse? K turn as outlined (by me) earlier....

Just need to write in 2 or 3 extra man hours on each per day job for k turns and get out bid by smarter arbs with mini skids :-) Ouch.

OK since this is a mini thread, how about this for an invention by someone. How about a turn around plate a little bigger than the 4x4 plywood that is the best we can create by the makers of the fabricated pieces made to drive on. I want a diamond plate unbreakable plastic (light) 7' diameter...

Man, if you can get that for poplar, I am amazed and impressed. I got some nice oak honkers in my lot. Why don't y'all come down and give me pockets of money for them.

Figgered that is how it got in there. I'd just cut that lil dog in half and toss it in there without the dead man's drag ;-0

I probably shouldn't be talking. Had to load this on my dump trailer last week as couldn't get the log truck up the hill to the tree. 56" dbh and 10' at the flare. My crane would have scraped or even got beached if I loaded on it.

    This is the Akimbo

Have or do you plan to do any drop testing on the Akimbo? I mean like if a 200 lb. guy fell off a branch and it was shocked at say 4 feet that wasn't tended...that would be a 800# shock wouldn't it? (doubles every 2 feet?)

Any vid on that loading? Seems unlikely. Did you have 2 groundies and the homeowner standing on the back of the Dingo with you? I may have to pull out my green log chart on that one.

Not if you rotate on a simple half piece of plywood son. (was that 60% more positive?)
