where can i find rated saddle/harness hardware?

I'm still all about it, man. I just get spooky when you start mentioning kids. I really, for some reason, believe that the amount of stitching, the patterns and the thread are ESSENTIAL to making a safe product. My one piece of advice is to put your focus there, first and foremost. I'm assuming...

What kind of pattern are you using when sewing the saddles? I was amazed when I saw August Hunicke's new tribe video. I can totally see that being done from home.. albeit with the correct materials, patterns and techniques. Cool. Cool cool cool. @barley wilkerson

    How to assess worn Rope?

Don't get me wrong.. that rope looks like it's taken it's fair share of arse whoopins. But, is there actually even one completely severed strand? The glazing doesn't really look all too bad from my phone either. I dunno, but going on no history and simply LOOKS... maybe I'm gravely misinformed...

    How to assess worn Rope?

End is near? For real? Cause of the glazing? Those picks look less than minimal to me. Maybe I need to reevaluate what I would and would not climb on. I'm starting to feel slightly nuts. I'm with @Steve Connally I don't start to even consider it until I see core, or feel a change in diameter..

    Haix Boot

Well.. in saying that man, my protector lights only made it about 8-9mnths, too. I'm starting to think it's a "me" problem.. not a boot problem. Boomer seems to have the same issue..

    Haix Boot

Initially, I did like the haix. Had their original protector lights.. and now have those airpower or whatever the hell they're called. I CANNOT get more than a year full-time out of a pair. Blow them up.

    Pick in climbing rope

I wouldn't worry about that at all. I agree with @rockettree no fire. I'd leave it well enough alone. BUT, in saying that.. it's your life on the line. If you're second guessing it, cut it out and give yourself the peace of mind.

    Rig N' Wrench

I don't have a pic.. but a piece of webbing from a quick draw works pretty good.
