Steve I suck at sales too. I used to tell every climber at tcia shows that the worst thing about a wraptor is you don't get to inspect the tree as you ascend . Stupid to offer negatives to your product but I like you want to be honest. Bottom line though is if you get slow you have to sell so... -

Don't talk about how stick cranes can take bigger pics. Idiot business owners will see that as quicker which they equate to more money. Stick to telling why your rig is better and safer, quick setup which means less down time. Easier on driveways etc Sell your crane not others -

I don't have access to 1" steel plates which IMO would be somewhat unwieldy however I think Im going to mill some 6' 4x12" white oak timbers , 3 per outrigger.. We currently use 3" thick 3'x4' oak pads but as you saw they didn't hold up. I really think if we had some cribbing on it to spread... -

I got a quote for a contenental belt and it was $1500 and that was from an industrial belt co. Carlton are supposed to call back tomorrow.... Crazy money for a freaking belt!- pctree

Just bought a big 140 hp stump grinder, first stump I broke the belt. It's a polychain belt and they are quoting me over $1500 for it!!! Anybody have any alternative solutions?? Maybe new pulleys and regular v belts??- pctree

Good question. I really don't know. The tank was at least 2' deep, maybe a probe but then you might be just hitting rocks? I really don't know. When the mat started cracking I had that 4000# log right over the house, I revved her up and swung and cabled and boomed down as the crane started to go over. Still can't believe she didn't flip.......
