That crap is giving this place a septic smell.

Yes, that's why I gave em the boot in the TH. That smell was getting FOUL.

Amen to that.
There is a pic. in Wesspurs catalog. It is set-up with a prussik above but will give you the idea. Just scoll on down the page and it is on page 16.

Personally I like the friction saver. You don't have to go buy the ART one for $250, you could just get the buckingham one and either get the adjustabe strap from them or get a piece of tenex and a ring to make your own.
There are times when you don't always have to work the whole tree but with...
I got to try my pair out today that I got for christmas and I love them. I thought the tech pants and they where pretty good but these don't even compare. But like you said still don't know if the price is right. That is just something that time will tell. If they last 2 years then I think they...
Yeah it must be from the recent update glen. About a week ago they added all the new gear to there site and changed the layout some which made it easier to find items. But as you see it has opened up other problems.
Hmm... gonna have to keep my eye on this one. Cannot imagine it could be much worse though then when I first stated at the company I just left. First week there was something close to hell. As long as you don't mess with my gear everything is cool. Have merry chirstmas and happy new year seth...
They are doing the Washington Reinactment(sp) christmas day crossing the delaware. I had thought about going back up the hill and watching it from a birds eye view but I have a feeling that my lady wouldn't like that idea very much.
A tree climbing we will go.
Well today was one of my 5 days off and I had promised myself that I would take it easy. But after about 2 hours of being in the house this morning, I just had to get out. So I decided to take a trip on up to Washingtons Crossing.
I checked out both the NJ and PA...
About 6 years ago I had a slight break in my left wrist. It was just a hair line fracture which only required me to were a brace for a few weeks.
For about 2 years after that I had some pain due to falls from skating. The pain then went away after switching jobs.
But the pain has finally come...
Think of it from a safety stand point there jonsered. I will just bring up one instance and that is a saddle. Buddy of mine 25 years ago was limbwalking out on a dead branch to set a line. The limb broke and his buttstrap saddle come up under his armpits. This also put his chainsaw right behind...
At this years comp. the judges only said there was a victim in the tree that was unable to come down himself and he was not bleeding or in a life or death sitution. It seemed like a lot of room to play with just wasn't sure. But thank you, I will keep close attention to the senario they give and...
I see Tom's point. The climbers that take the time to upgrade there gear, usually means they take the time to continue to learn and not just stick with what works and is cheap. Most of the guys that I know don't have most of the items on this list. And it just so happens to be that they have...
Link doesn't work Treeco. But a buddy of mine sharpens all his blades. I think he gets to sharpen his blades twice before he replaces them. Not as good as a new one but for the price of some replacement blades it is definitly worth it.
I agree with guy too. At first the silky cut very good and smooth but within a month I probally could have switched back to my corona and not have noticed the difference. The only plus I have for the zubat is the end of the handle doesn't have a shaarp curve on it. The coronas handle always use...
I agree with Steve that a first aid kit on the saddle is needed.
A camelpack is definitly both a time and life saver. With a proper cleaning you can kill most bacteria that wil grow. But I would be more concerned with the dust and fumes/smoke that we breath everyday.
I would add a friction/...

I cant wait to try mine out. Any one know when sherrill is planning on shipping.

When I ordered mine at the expo, they told me that they where gonna ship it to me Jan. 5th. They haven't called to change it so I guess everything is still good. Don't know what the demand...
Steve I had the same problem so don't feel bad. But after reading what Keith said, I see that we shouldn't see it as just an event in a comp that is made up but as a real emergency.
For next year, I am gonna work with a family memeber who works in the ER, to come up with a possible senario as...
Here is the company that I use to order all my gloves. I always order at least a dozen which comes out to about $3 a pair. PalmFlex. I use the black/grey nitrile all year long for climbing and light rigging. Come winter time I buy some cotton inserts, being they are not warm at all. The...
Here's your link MB Tree Motion, just the pic, but look throught sherrills site and it is there. I currently use the tree austria and don't really have any complaints. Saddle before was the basic buckingham so it was a huge improvement IMO. But I need something that sits below my hips.

Your tell me. He's tiny like me, and I know I sure would notice the weight. But this just got me thinking. How about attaching the saw to the butterfly knot so that way the saw is ready and waiting for you and you don't have to waste the...
