The RW is certified as a usual pulley, hanging from the slick pin with a rope running over the sheave which really isnt what its used like ;) Thats the problem why its not if I understood it right. Combining ropes in SRT
Vortex is such a great rope IMO good to see it getting some good reputation every now and then. And again the HH shines as the SRT device usable with thicker ropes (which I prefer)... Cant climb with Vortex and a RW though, way to much friction! And that is also why you write about getting away...- Tree Access

Ah, and electric definitly is the future and for a good part the present as well ;) Beeing compatible with a big brand would at least give me as European a chance to run it. Some really good batteries (and tools) come from Metabo, and they became part of a "cordless alliance" here in EU...- Tree Access

Options for setting a base or canopy SRT anchor

IMO the bag is cheap Chinese crap unfortunately. You pay for the system being certified as a whole to the European standards, which is a great step in the evolution of hitch based climbing systems somehow, but irrelevant for you I guess. Go with the single components, you can order the green HC...- Tree Access
