Wierd! Could have sworn i seen a blaze in 11.7.......meh...either way, all the 24 strand 11.7's are the same....and i love every one of them. Kind of digging the PI lately....killer combo and more visible than i would have ever thought...my new favorite over blue moon now
Sorry, i meant the24 strand 11.7's were all the same lol...poison ivy, poison hyvy, tropical ivy, blue moon, arrow frog, blue tongue, bandit, blaze....all the same
It was recommended for the 192, but not the 193. I'm leaving the .043 on it for the next job...i'll try to get some video of the 2. My orher 193's came with .050 on them, and i think my 170 has a 16" .043 bar and chain on it...maybe i'll try that too lol. Maybe the smaller chain will make it so...
The small ones i usually just pick a length...but on the big stuff i do it that way...like on my 661. When i bought the 661 they had it for $1219 with a 25", or they could put a 36" on it for $1245...so i went that route because you cant buy a 36" bar and chain for $26 lol...and a 25" is quite a...
Weird! I actually got a call back from a stihl rep today...apparently what is happening is that new saws are shipping without bars in the box, and they are instructed to pull stock off their wall for assembly, and the guy that assembled this one assumed all 14" bars were the same...but, like the...
Well, maybe i'll keep it the way it is then and try it out in my next removal. Do you really think its more work to sharpen??? i use the file guide that does the tooth and the rakes at the same time, and i believe both the .043 and the .050 use a 5/32 file. The only real cut time i have with the...
Yeah they werent these new ones...i had 3 and atleast one was always not running right...i have 355T's too, and never a hiccup out of them either. These days I just don't see the value in us $650 top handle… I'm sure it's a nicer saw but it's not twice as nice… I'm not any faster with a 201 or...
Well....i'm pretty late to the party, but I'm kind of impressed by this guy...normally the only thing you hear from climbers is egotistical bullshit lol...i've always said the best danger gauge is between your ears. That gauge can always be re-calibrated, and certainly it will be in time...i was...
Awesome thank you! The stihl chart shows exactly what you said, and it shows the 193 and 201 running the exact same bars...like my other 2 have on them.
The bar on this one is the correct set up for a 192 as well...but the 193's normally come with a .50 bar that has 2 more teeth on the nose sprocket...i threw them up on the bench and was like "wtf? Why does the new one have a wierd nose on the bar?!"
