New throw hook on the market

I’m holding for a Batman style grappling hook gun. Internets, please make it so.

An idea to maybe make the lower branch snag, would be to have two sections of the links. The second set would allow the Hook to be lower beneath the branch, if you think that might help.

Another option would be to replace the metal links with a smaller scale rope ladder made out of something like accessory cord.

Neat video! It works like the Captain and might be easier to set since it is continuous with the rope. But that might be its disadvantage too; it seems to be permanent on the end of the rope and can't be swapped out for another option on that rope.

I got to try this courtesy of this dude Paul. It was cool and heavier than the captain so it seemed an easier throw especially if there are twigs in the way. It will accept a much larger limb than the captain but you gotta fandangle the rope around the bottom part of it once you got it over a limb. That was much harder than I thought.
