I was curious about that. I have a few I would consider going black with, but I really wanted to restore a pair of 372s I have that are starting to look pretty taxed. Going to have to do a little YouTube searching and maybe learn the ropes.
Well this was a few days ago, but worth the share. I cut 14 trees across the street from here, this guy shows up and drops a tree right on the shed first thing
Thanks, reach. Always a good option, will definitely consider this also. I got this one cheap and it had blue jean material in the sprocket.. came with no bar, chain, or dogs. I think it will clean up well with some new parts. Needs a clutch cover also, looks like this one was hammered on.
The bark box's sound mean! I'm guessing the # of dogs is personal preference. Considered the 3 point on a climbing saw since it would allow more access to the bar length by the looks...maybe?
I will definitely consider a new factory one, thanks. I see a lot of people running a different cover and I'd guess an upgraded filter. I am a husky man so this is definitely turning a new corner for me and I want to get the most out of the saw.
I find just eyeballing 90 degrees off the top side of the bar will get you pretty close, gotta lean back and use distance as your friend.. like shooting pool. I personally would run a modded 2511 over a 355 because of our baby Pennsylvania trees
Looking at putting some good dogs and a 24" bar on a 461 I just got... was thinking pro safety felling dogs and a tsumara. 3,4,or 5 point dogs and why, please? Any other brands I should consider? Curious about aftermarket air cleaners also. Thank you in advance,
Matt
