Wow, that's brutal. Good to know tbh. I am fairly new to this region and am not used to the storm systems. When accidents are truly accidents it does bring some relief, but that's still horrible.
Our intern Emma got some hang time today. First time having her off the ground. She did both moving rope and singled rope. Too bad college is taking her for the next 4 years, she's been an awesome hand.
We have a shrub bucket on our tractor, like a spade shovel, that we use for digging and to carry large root balls (strap it to the bucket contour). On larger trees we've occasionally used the air spade to clean the roots off and address quality control issues. Also can make transport easier...
