    What's killing arborvitae?

Any chance it could be Pestalotiopsis or Phomopsis? Do you know the planting history on any of them? I've seen some uptick in phomopsis.

    TCIA WTF?

Agreed. Bad ai or ai used as an exploitive tool is an issue. And yes, site hosting is often a thankless job. It's important that we clarify the potential positive aspects of this partnership as well. I'd imagine that, since this page is an anomaly, they're hoping to get real industry talk...

    TCIA WTF?

Exactly. It was the lack of transparency, direction, and communication from parties involved. We operate on here the way we do, and kind of expect others (TCIA content writers included) to at least be a part of what makes the forum great. Like Mark said, this is a unique forum. The problem is...

    TCIA WTF?

We need to come up with some framework for how we allow TCIA to interact with our posts and information on this site, at an individual level. I think the collaboration between entities could be really useful to the industry, but only if they let what made treebuzz unique proliferate. I.E. you've...

    Neurodiversity thread

This has been my hiring experience also. We've focused on making formal curriculum, that way we identify if people are lazy, illiterate, or ignorant pretty quick. With that comes really clear SOP's, so if we find deficiencies we can train it. Not just say, "hey, do this" but literally stop...

2024 Avant 755i, lots of attachments

The tractor works well for planting (ghetto way). It's got a shrub bucket on the front. Forks work fine for 48" b&b. The avant makes loading and unloading the b&b easier for sure.

2024 Avant 755i, lots of attachments

I plant a ton of trees. We've done over 300 minimum 10 gal this year.

2024 Avant 755i, lots of attachments

I don't fit in a 423 well. I'd like to go to a giant g1200tele. For what I do most I think it would work best, basically upgrading the tractor. Later down the road we'll get a dedicated big machine, if volume warrants it. I don't to enough big work to warrant this size machine. The tractor...
