    Tree man.

No crane, no harness. He would some times just "free stand" on the rim of the bucket. For removing obstructing limbs that would interfere with a clean top drop. The top would be dropped while in the bucket. It would be a limb on in the top, threatening damage to a structure or catching another...

So OP, you speaking out now, in your thread, sharing what you know of this incident may prevent someone else from the same fate. A foolish act or not, WE ARE NOT HEAR TO JUDGE. You shown evidence in your first posts you don't want him disrespected. None here will. In fact, talking to us may...

Clipped in......not to bucket or the tree. It was his show and, his truck. I've preformed some practices deemed ''un safe'' by the book but, nothing like that.

    Tree man.

Maybe he wasn't in the bucket. Good friend of mine used to run a 55' on some trees. Of course a 55 would run short..... sometimes, he'd stand on the brim to lop of a limb. Foolish indeed. It would be the one or two limbs obstructing clearance for popping out the top. I hope the OP gets back to...

    Yale scandere

Been bombing my OG ZZ on Sumac for a solid 3yrs. I love it. Reserved for crane work only. Sometimes, after a pick, I'll run it natty crotch to get down. I don't care to but, do what I have to at times. I wish i ran this combo when I 1st got it. I would have bought a whole spool of it. I like...

I just did. I read the guy fell out of a bucket truck. Died later after being air lifted to a hospital. Not much else was mentioned.

Add quick buckle to TM Essential

What I meant is, does an alteration void the cert of the entire saddle? Which, in turn, could cause a liability issue? I like the CMC on my MB OG. Easy to use "buckle" and adjuster. Adjustment always stays put till I want to adjust it intentionally.

Add quick buckle to TM Essential

If your trainee was to be injured, are you concerned with alterations of a certified saddle?

    Husqvarna X-COM

I wear Sena while riding the ball, even though hand signals are known. It's easier to have the communication. Especially when the operator can't see the climber/pick. Sometimes I'm just flying straps while a second climber is making cuts. At this point I turn off coms when I'm near the chipper...
