Fu*%face Von Clownstick

I personally would love it if it were easier for me to go to Canada. I would hate for Canada to get billboards though.
I spent some of my childhood in a border town (St Stephen, NB) and can remember just walking across to Calais, ME because they had the movie theater. No passports, no interrogation. You just told "Steve" at the booth you were going to see the 7pm showing of the new Star Wars and he would smile and wave.

9/11 changed everything. It was, and is, a significant turning point in history.

We all need to be more like Steve.
I remember those days too. Driving across the boarder was more akin to ‘oh will we have to stop to show our ID?’ And now ‘oh we are the lucky number that gets searched’
It’s always a much more pleasant respectful experience going north. Coming south is a whole different story.

Seriously even the booths, the Canadian ones, nice clean and modern. The American ones, they have to yell at you over the broken 1950’s heater kicks on and the booth has peeling lead paint

The age of Steve's is long gone. I can accept that as I'm aware there are legitimate security concerns with just letting anyone cross without due diligence. It's just disheartening that this is the way the world is now.

I agree but it can be done with more respect

Greenland's government flatly denied a claim made by President Donald Trump that officials from the island invited a U.S. delegation led by the wife of Vice President JD Vance, to visit the Arctic territory this week.
