Only received that saw in hands.Would liке to hear good advices how to charge, store batteries/I bought 40-c80 charger with minds :longer charging- better for battery. How to store battery at winter before job?How saw worк at cold times/below freezing?
Sizes ,models of bars and chains? Is it possible to use Stihl bars?
How often do we need to lubricate bearings under clutch?
Does it has more vibration due to clutch?

Doesn't seem to have more vibration to me.

I admire all you willing to work in the cold. I would think warm batteries in the cab on the way to job would be a plus.

I saw there was a heated handle version of the saw. A G added to model number I think.

The plastic Fat Max toolbox I mentioned above is heavy walled enough to stand or sit on. I used to run 16 inch bars on my climb saws but the 14" bars are the longest that fit well in the box and if I'm ready for a 16" bar or more I'm ready for a gas saw and more power anyway.

The Husly extendable pole saw is useful for a lot of my pruning purposes and for releasing dangerous cuts on limbs far enough away from my body. The extendable hedger is great for hedges and even syth type mowing of grass under a tree before work.

Yes. I was thinking some of that info might be useful to anyone else finding this. Maybe not needed.

I always think of TreeBuzz as such an incredible gathering of good/great info. When I first found it I was back day after day searching and reading even years old threads on this or that.

Learning how to square file the sp21g chain on your electric chainsaw would improve it's cutting efficiency and should extend battery life.

If used only in the tree it would see clean cutting conditions which is important for square filed chains.

I use squre fileing my saw,but it worкs with chisel/straight tooth not round touth. For shure I'll similar to this saw too

I'm not sure about bar longevity as I've not replaced one on the top handle saws yet. I'm pretty easy on equipment.

I did notice recently that in some written info I saw the T542i has no problem bore cutting. If true that will be a nice change from earlier versions.

Did anybody grease/oiled bearings under clutch?Maybe it will need more often ?

I see my single black charger QC250 shows a 42v output at 6.0A. A QC330 charger shows 36v at 7A. And the QC500 chargers show42v at12A. If it's taking too long to charge, especially on the job, I would suggest using the QC500 model for faster charges.

IIRC lithium ion batteries don't like cold, either for being charged or putting out amperage which on a saw they load the battery pretty hard. When lithium ion batteries were new sport bikes adopted them to drop the weight of a lead acid battery but on cold days the procedure was to I think run the lights for a short while so the battery could self heat enough to then attempt cranking the motor. Then you only had a couple short shots available unlike the deeper reserve of the lead acid unit.

So in the category of pretty sure, only charge warmed up batteries and try to start a cold day with warmed batteries that will hopefully be slower to cool off due to self heating during use. Gives an idea to put a little insulation around them for chronic winter use. Conversely in the summer they require internal over temperature protection cut outs!

Got mine a few weeks ago, along with the ground saw.
The topper is heavy, but my go to dismantling saw at the moment.
