And to continue the crazy streak of branches in hinges, I got this one yesterday on a 19" Black Cherry. The branch seen is about 5/8" diameter. Never happened before. Apparently we have collectively manifested this.
Always fun when you bail from a job for shitty weather or whatever reason, then run into the client. Kinda like getting caught skipping schoolChip lasagna and a nightmare shore pine I hope is still standing on Saturday morning when I actually have time to deal with it. (*sigh*, being self-employed in a small community means no rest....)

When I was single and did all my own grocery shopping, I used to have to go to the store just before closing. Small town stuff. If I wanted work, I would go well before closing and take my time.Always fun when you bail from a job for shitty weather or whatever reason, then run into the client. Do tell, did you clean up or wait for high tide? Back in the day we would slice and dice, stash behind driftwood. Or toss some saw gas and let the leaf blower idleSomewhat surprisingly that pine was still standing when I got back to it, probably would have failed without the s trap because it was twisting in the wind and you could see sky through it from ground lev up to like 30 feet. Customer removed the fence, had to fell it onto the bulkhead, which I cushioned with like 4 feet of rotten logs and brush so I didn't smash it. Sketchy tree.

You might be too rocky, a little hardware (eye bolts/lags) a chunk of chain, and some duckbills.. Shoreline soft armoring to soften tides and sea level/king tides, might even get paid extra to leave logs on the beach!LOL, I wasn't shitty like that and I can prove it
While I did make and leave big logs to lay parallel with the existing driftwood (no harm done there in a pocket beach where it stays put), I cut and moved ALL the brush up onto a rock bluff, for the customers to burn.
It was a lot of work for a Saturday.

Yes, just water. The first 24 hrs I used cold water, came out very grey and milky at the end. So I decided to rinse and do another 24 hrs, this time in warm water. It came out almost as milky as the first time. Someone online told me it's wax that comes off. They treat the fibres with wax to help them glide through the weaving and braiding machines at the factory....Water only, no additives?
