I just put it on the 2511 yesterday and it will be a while before I use it, but I've got WCS dogs on every single saw I keep in my truck that they make them for except one (my 180, lol). I'll admit to being hesitant at first because I was worried they were just Instagram/influencer trash, but then I got my first set on a 661 I run a 36" on and loved it. In my experience, stock dogs just kinda keep the muffler off the bark, ebay dogs are usually just big with stupid geometry that doesn't work, but WCS dogs bite in, pivot like butter and make cutting smoother and easier. A lot of work went into the shape; it shows and it works. Especially for us westcoasters with thick-bark firs.
The only downsides are on the bigger saws where the bottom point is lower than the body of the saw, it can damage what it is sitting on, and I've stabbed myself in the calf once or twice when hanging a bigger saw on my saddle. They are sorta dangerous, but still WELL worth it.
Edit: I forget who at this point, but it was someone on the forum here convinced me to try out the dogs, glad I did.
