Trees from a distance

Love that’n. My friends have a very old one next to a 1800s mountain cabin.

This one was right next to the Japanese maple I just posted. Some banger trees in this neighborhood.

Edit- I realize my wording was misleading- the following is a new tree to ID

Yowza! They can handle that?
Yes, no bother, they would have been cut back to the lower point (1 meter under the new points) many many times before
On lapsed pollards like these I like to create a new higher pollard point.

I’m aware a lot of US tree-men will have a fit of the vapours, but its the way we do things here.
