Looking for a working 192T recoil/rewind/starter. Prefer a complete assembly. NOT INTERESTED IN A TC. Send me pics and asking price. Will also consider a running or non-running 192T.

Please let me know. Shoot me some pics and how much compression it has. Thanks sir.Think I've got a nearly new 192T whole saw. Will check tomorrow.
Let me know what you have. Thanks.I think I have part of a 192, and probably have a starter. I will try to remember to check tomorrow at the shop as well.
I think he is looking at the wrong ladder on the model number, because the C signifies that the saw is an Mtronic saw. The difference between the two starters however is that one of those is Stihl’s Easy2Start, which means that when you pull the rope, you are actually winding up a spring, not directly rotating the engine. Once you pull the rope out all the way, the spring releases and spins the engine for you. That means you don’t have to pull the rope fast, you pull nice and slow and even, and it still starts saw the same way as it would with a quick pull on a normal rope.I’m not understanding what the difference is. I got a 192TC that I like, never noticed anything weird with the recoil, seems to function like my other top handle recoils.
Also holler when you’re in Buffalo or the Falls again man, we can get a beef on weck and rec climb something or get a drink or something![]()
You explained the difference in the recoil correctly but the C stands for Comfort and is the easy start recoil, not mtronic. They are mickey mouse and I cant keep one in the saw for more than a year before it breaks. The T model is the normal start recoil version. I found a whole NOS recoil assembly on Ebay but the guy wants $100.I think he is looking at the wrong ladder on the model number, because the C signifies that the saw is an Mtronic saw. Dude, that would be great. My BIL has a few big trees then want removed and I need to take a look at them and schedule a fine before winter. It might be a good opportunity to get togetherI’m not understanding what the difference is. Yes it is a 192T.Please let me know. Shoot me some pics and how much compression it has. Thanks sir.
Yes, I'll sent you a PM.Yes it is a 192T.
It has all the compression it came with factory new. Prospective climber ran 2 to 3 tanks of fuel through it (Chevron Supreme mixed with Stihl Ultra oil at 40 to 1.) (Went up about 8 easy trees, came back down all but 2.)
If you're interested in it on that basis I can take some pictures if you PM me your cell number.
I'm surprised it hasn't exploded yet. I was being ginger with mine for the last year but must of gotten too excited last week and she popped.I stand corrected, used my 192TC yesterday, pulled the cord slowly and felt it wind, release and start. Weird how I’ve been yanking the cord like every other saw for the past few years.
