rope runner pro

I knew this and still didn’t wash it this morning And didn’t work that great. Lol. However through it on some broken in xstatic and ran like a dream! I noticed a tiny bit more sitback than the original but now i can use a perfect o with the rrp and that shortened things up a bit.
Now that is crazy. Used a well broken in OG on brand new Luna all week. It worked flawless. I will be getting a pro in the next batch. Was seeing if I really wanted one. Yes I do.

Why are people so obsessed with the numbers.

yeah it’s funny some new ropes I’ve Had no problem with mechanicals but others Ive had probs with. Seems Samson ropes. I had to wash my voyager before it worked well. And now I just washed my tango ivy. We’ll see how it works now. The rope runner pro is so smooth though. You’ll like it

One day.

Mine was completely closed. My Vortex wouldn't even go through the bird. Had to open it to the next to largest setting. It had minor creep all the way open. Just barely though.

And while you're at it throw away the alan wrench that comes with it and put a good one in the box. I'd heard of a couple people stripping out the bolt. I could tell it was a very cheap wrench and it didn't fit 100% perfectly. When I started to break mine loose it felt very sloppy so I got a good one from the shop. It fit well and broke it loose no problem. Not bashing the product at all. I didn't even expect a wrench. Maybe it will save someone some grief.

Finally got to take mine for a spin. Right out of the box on new, washed Vortex with the bird bollard wide open - runs just like my well broken in OG RR. I’m probably 215-220 sans gear. Yes, I too stripped out the cheapo Allen key in my haste to set her up. Cut it in half and dropped it in the drill to give a little more torque and she opened right up. Great device - thanks @treebing

Not to badmouth, but it seems like a recall on that hex bolt or allen wrench may be in order since so many are stripping it out when they are doing their initial adjustment. Just saying, not doubting the quality of the tool, just the bolt.
