Low carb stir fry. Egg fried some riced cauliflower with garlic and teriyaki.
Marinated grilled top sirloin cooked RARE and then cut into bite sized chunks with onion, shitake, broccoli, 3 bell colors with a mix of teriyaki, garlic, ginger, and a korean red chili sweet "ketchup". Fried in a mix of sesame oil, olive oil, and some butter.

Paper shell pecans ?
You can easily crush hard shells w/ one hand ? (just put 2 in the same hand & squeeze)
Pralines ? (your butter & brown sugar are headed in that direction)

I think your dish would also be good w/ Oriental Pears.

They were the smaller round pecans already shelled unfortunately

We have three Asian Pear trees... best canning pear in the world, IMHO... also have a half dozen Keefer Pear trees. Second best canning pear. Larger, with a bit of the Asian Pear spicey taste, and also hold up to canning. Of course, they both make awesome pear pie, too. These firmer pears are the best for any cooking, really. Bartlett and other soft pears get mushy.

A warning, though... you have to be a serious pear lover. The Keefer Pear trees will produce fruit at a young age, and about three years after they start, you'll be asshole deep in pears from just one tree. You have to be really into canning pears and selling them at the Farmers Market.
