Could you post a photo of this set up?

The green section is Tenex. The red section is the cover for a rigging rope. Inside the rigging rope cover is the bungee. The red section connects high up on my harness suspenders and the green section connects to a foot loop on my boot. I bought both the bungee and foot loop from Climbing Innovations.

With that huge backpad and those big old cozy leg pads I can see how you bigger climbers would really like the MB. It's a killer super supportive harness and I really enjoyed my time with it. Plus I couldn't think of a better man and business to support than August and Monkey Beaver. Pure class.....

I was going to build something very similar to those before they came out.
I have no idea why people seem mad at them for being half the price of geckos and twice the weight. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

$299 from tree stuff they are geckos just the steel version. I didn’t wanna give $500 $600 for the aluminum ones for like a couple oz less weight lol

Hey @Blessed Man , I use the akimbo daily rotating between srs, mrs, crane work, and as a lanyard adjuster. I'm 6'2" and 200-220 lbs depending on the week. I've run blue moon, tachyon, fly, xstatic, and poison ivy through it.

I use the xstatic exclusively for SRS, blue moon for MRS(now a lanyard), and tachyon to switch between both. Poison ivy was a friends that I used for a rec climb.

I'd strongly suggest the tachyon with a spliced eye on it to be a jack of all trades.

CT makes a pair of aluminums for around that price u paid I think but yours might be better... That's a really good deal if their built as good as they were before

Tried my spurs and I hate them! The stirrups way to wide and doesn’t hug the foot no matter how tight you make the foot strap
