The rear green ring is “rated” for work positioning. The red on the super light is not rated. If you take off the back pad of each, the saddle construction is noticeably different.
Ahhhh good eye! That makes sense as to why I'm seeing what I'm seeing..
Speaking to the Older TM... It has miles of adjustment in the webbing on the leg loops, bridge rise, and waist. I would not be worried with layers. In fact its been some what of a complaint, of having to manage all the webbing tails.
Oh nice, that's good to hear.. How about the webbing design though? Am I seeing it correctly..? The leg loop webbing goes from each side of leg loop, directly through lower D & onto other side of leg loop? Unlike Buck Ergo lines, Petzl Sequioa, Notch Sentinel.. where web goes directly from one side of leg loop to the other side of leg loop & connects to rigging plates/rings by way of non-adjustable sewn link?
Son of a bitch.. here's a better way of asking... Way easier to explain.. "Do the TM's leg loops float within the Lower D's.. Unlike the Ergo's, Sentinels & Sequoias, which are not?"
I think I'm gonna buy one of these new ones & check it out.
