TreeStuff and SherrillTree Join Forces

Hey all,

I just had a chat with Tripp regarding the back-order issue and would like to address the concerns around that.

First off, the back-order issues are very much a real problem that is occurring. The reason for the back-orders is simply due to both shops exceeding their sales projections, and now both are in catch-up mode. Neither store wants to let down their customers, so this has been a top priority for Tripp and Luke. They are reviewing our minimum stocking levels and looking at our 2017 sales goals to see if either need to be increased. And our purchasing agents are working their asses off to get products in ASAP.

I saw some concern that this was related to warehouse integration between the two stores, but there hasn't been any integration yet. TS is still operating their own back-end software, as are we. From what I'm told, we will be getting both stores on the same software at some point in 2017. I also saw some feedback regarding our website, which I've passed along to the e-comm team.

I know the back-orders suck, and I apologize on behalf of both operations.

Thanks for listening.

-Sean

I cant speak for the Sherrill operation much, but I can say Sean is right about us. TreeStuff is rocking and rolling at 150% just trying to keep up!!!!

Another thing to consider is that TreeStuff stocks LOTS of European and other internationally sourced specialty stuff (Think Pfanner, Courant, Donaghys, Arbortech, Sugihara, Climbing Technology, Gecko, Cannings exclusive color ropes etc.). These companies often face manufacturing delays where they leave us (their customer) kind of in the lurch. As a policy the TreeStaffers go out of their way to make it right with each and every customer.

As usual if you are ever displeased please email me directly (nick@treestuff.com), or text/call my cell (440.989.0444 I don't always answer but I do my best and always respond to texts).

Thanks Bonner ! brings lots of goodies to the tree expo and we will forgive you brother ! Keep up the good work

Sounds like a typical merger. As for the paid shilling, let me say that the lost income for two days far outstrips the paid airfare, etc. However, the opportunity to see the operation and speak to them directly is golden. Now, if anyone wants to offset that lost income for me, I'm accepting cash..:reloco:

What's the deal with the tree stuff website now looking like its an Amazon page??

Amazon logo and colors....

Are we going to hear about another new business arraignment?

Btw,

I have been part of selling and buying a business more then once. Often times inventory becomes an issue around time when hands change because the old owner does not want to spend any cash buying new product when he is expecting to unload company soon. Not saying that this was the issue here, just my experience in previous business dealings.

I think they are just having fun! I don't see it as a permanent change as it is Amazon's. Pretty clever though! Don't you think?

And the inventory thing has been very noticeable throughout the website, but I have ordered things that are out of stock and, as we have been accustomed with Treestuff, they go above and beyond to make it right...they still strongly believe in the mission that they are serving the working arborist that need these tools for their livelihood...and if they can't do their part in getting us the stuff we ordered, when we ordered it, they are going to try their best! And most likely they'll give you the better end of the deal! Still the same people. Time will tell when this all settles in after the restructuring and the background details are smoothed over.

Well not to take things off topic. But unfortunately I won't be going down to NC this week, just too swamped with work. I emailed Tripp last night. The tree expos the week after, and can't be away for both as the weather is not on our side here and have to get all my big jobs done before it turns for the worse! I'll just have to meet some of ya's at the tree expo!
