Rope Wrench - Hitch/Rope compendium.

Swingdude that is an interesting way of tying a vt with the final crossover or braid in the front instead of the back. I can see why you would want the flexibility near the eyes.

The reason for that Brocky is to allow separation between tether and rope on fast descents...the tether would rub and get burned..learned that 3 years ago

My spliced area comes in different lengths on my ocean 10mm, affecting my ability to form my michoacan due to the stiffness of the spliced section. Wish the length of the splices was exactingly standard, but I can function as is. @bonner1040

Swingdud that is an excellent and effective solution. Plus, looking at your pictures, it appears you have four wraps. Are these the type you usually use?

Brocky, really swingdud? What an insult.

But, the weigh in here, literally, I probably go 330-335# geared up. 11.7 Yale, 1/2" vortex and 12mm kernmaster although it is more like 13mm and doesn't like to play well with the wrench. I use a 5 over 1 Michocan with 8mm 30" armour prus or a 6 over 1mm armour prus 32". Now, do I get a prize?

Aw geez, here we go! Sorry Mr. Dude ( always with an e at the end). At least I didn't accidentally give you the double fingers as someone else did to another! Will reread my posts more carefully.

Edit: I was going to delete my post but decided to leave it as the following posts would make no sense.
