Poison Ivy and Sumac are Yale 11.7'sThanks Reed, I tried a piece of "all gear" I really want to say it was "Cherry Bomb" it eats the back spline really fast on the quick Descents, and felt like it got hotter on the way down, after several tries. As I said earlier, I've never tried "Platinum ", now I know that I'll never try it. The Tachyon was one of those items that I purchased from another member, so I really didn't research it, all that well. It is however some really tough rope. As far as "Poison Ivy & Sumac" I'm not a real fan of either, tried them both while in Pittsburgh, last year. They both felt square after being loaded, they felt like I was climbing Rebar, they were really tough to get accustomed to after Yale 11.7's. I guess it's personal preference. Thanks for schooling me on the Teufelberger. My Bad.
