Jonny,

I am hesitant to openly share the file... as Arb News needs to get it's due. ;) But as an open source scientist... using things like Python and R cause they are free...

Here you go, please don't openly post for at least a few weeks, and you don't know where you got it. ;)

Matt

@Matt Follett You posted this as a comment on Johnny’s page, not as a PM so anyone on TreeBuzz can see it. I have not opened it, but you may want to remove this post or ask an Admin to do so if you don’t want it public yet.

I really hate any kind of mess on my property. Could you just take my tree back to your shop to cut it down? (i.e., "...on your property,..." is redundant.)

...Either design a couple plates or something that would more positively hold the metal in place. I have found that if you try to build it with wood, it will scorch most woods. Maybe a good fire started concept too, LOL. Anyway, hope you understand my reluctance there.

Yeah, I know. That's basically a HH, right? Maybe it's time for me to try it out. Your design is refined. Thank you for your response, anyway. I don't want the drama either.
Hey, if it is progress in the area of understanding, why not. Looking at things, I understand the concept of putting the cordage thru the rings to try to create some squeeze and friction on the rope that is automatically applied depending on the weight of the climber. Personally I would be looking for something other than rings for that.
Hello Tom,, I would be glad to make you a Bulldog Bone. It would be best if you contacted me via my email, as this message board does not allow me enough text to respond properly. My email is gordonandkathy@aol.com Thank you. Gordon
It's very possible to use the spare buttons on your crane transmitter to operate the grapple. You will have to install a wall transmitter. The wall transmitter links the cranes transmitter to the grapple saw. However there is some programing that has to be done by a Palfinger dealer. You can email me if you like. rcooney@west-hyd.com
Hi - I was wondering if you still have the titanium Buck's

If so, are they the ones with the offset stirrup?

Also wondering how long you've had them / how much life left on the spurs? ( ie how long are they?)

thanks and merry christmas.

Paul
The ancestry of the best throwball design comes from the Harrison Rocket from New Zealand There is a rather off-putting story involved there too. I'm pretty sure it was made public and is in the archive here somewhere.
We are now in full production. Thanks for your support. We welcome all dealer inquiries.

I work for a cool company in Olympia called Olympia Tree Care. Let me know if you have questions. We're pretty much always hiring likeable people.

Sweet dude!! What’s your “winter” season like? Things pretty much slow to a crawl for me when the snow flies….. I’d love to come out for a “working interview” if possible during the winter months if possible. How far is Olympia from Hood River/White Salmon area?

We work through the winter full time. The temperature rarely drops below 40 degrees, and while it does rain it doesn't usually pour. I came here from Vermont where in winter it was hard to keep your body temp regulated. Here I almost never have to put gloves on.

Hood River is about 2.5 hrs, I believe, 1 hr to Portland and Seattle.

My boss's name is Ronnie Hoover, you should hit him up if you want to!
Hi

I'd really like to see your 72' lift while its working. Let me know if I can meet you on a job someday to watch.

Tom
Hi

YOu wrote a powerful post. ALmost everyone can relate to what you're going through.

I live in Minneapolis. If you want to talk sometime let me know.

There are some good companies hiring now. This might be an option for you. Being self-employed does have some nice things but it it also a lot of work too.

Tom
