Javier, that is GREAT!!! I can't wait to ride it!

The harness you sit in looks quite comfy.

Let me know how that 150' spliced loop is comin' along!!!

really cool man!

thanks for posting, that video was cool, wish we got to see the end (maybe there was a reason for that? not all the bugs worked out of it at that time?)

I guess the pulleys need high speed bearings for those speeds and such a long distance huh? Bushings wouldn't hold up right?

I set up a simple one a few years ago at my house. You start in a 60ft. sycamore and splash down across our pond. Adult only, pretty fast. I can post a picture or two if you don't think I'm hijacking the thread.

Since you are probably a wealth of information on zip lines, I will ask you this:

I've had an idea to put up two more zip lines on the property. The first one, the rider would end in a tree, so I want a braking system, not the rider to use their hands with gloves on the cable.

I haven't seen many zip lines and I've never seen any braking ideas.

this is an idea that came to mind.

NO one should try this idea by the way, this is for discussion and "brain storming" purposes only.

Also, anyone contributing here is simply discussing ideas and none of this should be tried in real life.

see diagram for my idea (I swear, I should never get on tree buzz as I get sucked in and too involved and spend too much time that I don't have).
