Little loop hanging up on stuff? Put a piece of masking tape around it. Use the blue masking tape, no gooey-gluey mess. Tears right off when you need to use the loop to clip a throwline to the rope, pull it through the ZZ, etc.

Really, guys... just because we're in a ZigZag thread doesn't mean we have to scream "safety hazard!" at everything posted, and create imaginary engineering dilemnas.

If your doing drt (as its a zigzag!) you rope looped end will be on the floor most of the time, if you need to pull your line up and over, just be aware the loop is there.

As per my first post, you could pull it free with a few tugs, 40kgs is the average, partly why that method is clever.

That means you are feeding the ENTIRE line thru the machine all the time? Not ALL that clever imo.

It's because you cannot get a spliced eye into the zigzag, it's just a ground thing that you may need to do on occasion.
Esp. If your swapping ropes etc
