It's pretty cold here. I can keep sorta warm almost everywhere but in my fingers! Also a balaclava really fogs up my safety glasses.
I can't wait for spring...

When your stocking cap sticks to your climbing helmet or when you need two hand warmers for one hand (front and back of glove)

I know it was, Im just giving ya a hard time. Hows work been lately up there. We are taking today and tomorrow off. I might do some rec. climbing for the fun of it while I have some free time.

Yeah, no worries, I figured there would be humor on this thread.
Well the works not bad, but I pretty much shut down the tree work side of things for the winter. No calls, and I would rather be ice fishing if I have to be out in the cold.
Good idea on taking the next few days off, -10 (actual temp) right now with 15-20 mph NW winds. You have fun with the rec. climbing, not for me

Same here! If I eat enough and keep moving. But the fingers always suffer.
Warmed up here. Super windy, and looking west I can see the Chinook arch which will bring all that lovely warm air.
Spring... a long way to May!

Ran into this problem 2 days ago placed gloved hand on chipper to start it up and pulled glove off hand cause it was froze to the chipper. Note to self put pads on areas where hands contact chipper.

You know it's been an extra long cold winter when old friends start stopping by wondering if you can spare some firewood. Of course I take them to my special reserve of premium dry hardwood. We've had about five days above freezing since the snow arrived in early Oct. LA NINA GO AWAY. Hope it means a good summer. I think I might of picked the wrong winter to clean up debts with the tax man. I'm having trouble coming up with jokes about this winter. The joke's on outdoor workers. -35 again here, that should make you feel better.

Having your lips on yours or anyone elses zipper at the job site just sounds sooooo wrong and to bring a religious holiday like christmas into that visual is even wronger so please stop before you mention farm animals.
