WTB: Spencer DBH tape

Did you contract a price based on sizes? Who provided the sizes? Net loss in diameter or net increase in diameter?

I’m not sure of the full details of the contract. The city parks dept and their contractors provide most of the details as far as tree location and a DBH. But there’s a lot of inaccuracies in locations and measurements so we need to double check everything prior to injection, with our “oversight” present. It’s a huge contract focused on mitigating EAB. Makes me really dislike the company hired for oversight when we’re doing more oversight of them.

in addition the city and their surveyors did not do anything prior to the beginning of the injections. So we blew through the first few hundred trees in a week only to not have a second list ready for the following week. With the amount of ash trees in the city it should be “go go go!” until we finish in October. But they didn’t do anything to provide us with the trees necessary to do our job. So it’s back to normal production work until hopefully next week. Seems like there’s been zero preparations on their end.
