an option for not dropping the pin.
I will check them outIf you go to a marine chandlery you can find captured pin eye shackles. There is a retainer on the pin that keeps it from falling out. For some unknown reason most arborist supply houses don't stock the captured eye.
I like the idea of using a fishing swivel! Awesome idea. I often use screw pin shackles that are hard to open, so I also tie an Allen wrench to the shackle. It is quite a hassle and gets caught on a lot. Any ideas for this? Maybe I should keep it on my harness? Thanks in advance. This is small, but illustrates an option for not dropping the pin.

I can too, I usually wear more snug gloves though.Am I the only person who can easily open a quickie with gloves on....?
I grab the end of my thumb, and pull down (Index finger hooks thumb tip) on the end of the glove, so its just the cloth w/o rubber when using the slic pin on my wrench, works great, cant immagine a quickie being any worseAm I the only person who can easily open a quickie with gloves on....?
