Work shirts with business logo?

I’m looking into getting new work T-shirts and long sleeve shirts to have the business logo put on.

Has anyone found work shirts they really like?

I’ve always used the under Armour material shirts made by brands like Russell, but I’m curious what others use.
 
Cheap and 100% cotton or 50/50 cotton/poly blend are my only requirements. I think the ones I have now are Gildan 2000.

My shirts get trashed regardless and cotton breathes.
 
I've used Truewerk for the last 8 years. I have some t-shirts that are probably 6 years old. Kinda faded and a little stained but hold up very well. Initial investment is steep but they last and they dry fast. Highly recommend.
Having said that. I'm learning about natural fibers and the pitfalls of synthetic clothing but I haven't made the switch yet.
 
I am invested into the all poly longsleeve hoodies because I want the UPF. I looked for sun protective natural fiber shirts, but I get cooked through even heavy cotton/poly blended Ts. I do work under a fuckload of sun, so I notice the difference. I started with Team 365 stuff, but have found nearly identical ones for even cheaper. They have lasted a surprisingly long time. I think I average 3 years out of a set of 5.
 
I go to a local embroidery shop...they only charge a few dollars more than the cost of the shirt to put a logo on (embroidered... sometimes I think I'd like screen printed - but not the iron on vinyl many places are using now... multiple color screen printing in small batches gets expensive so I stick with embroidered...they charge the same whether I order 1 or 6... haven't tried larger bulk orders!).

I have several lightweight Sport Tek brand polo style shirts that I got there which I like. Also some long sleeve t-shirts that I'm pretty sure are the same brand. (I'll have to look when I'm home). Both are poly fabric. I pay +/-$20 each with logo. They breathe well and don't snag easily as several others I tried did.

It was my wife who found them, and I must sheepishly admit, they were on temu. I only got one to try, and it was the same as I had, but now it seems not an option. Nonetheless, team 365 stuff can be found cheap enough. I have gotten them through different companies just searching online, and sometimes amazon is cheapest, sometimes not.
 
The key with the all poly shirts is that they require a monthly deep wash cycle. I lump it in with all the other maintenece work that must happen for everything to work best. I soak the in a strong, hot solution of washing soda overnight, then rinse and hand wash with detergent, then rinse and machine wash. The other three weeks they just get a machine wash.
 
What kind of washing machine?

We have a Speed Queen that fills the tub full of water, swishes it around and rinses...like the one I grew up with in the 70s-80s. Does a great job.

I have a high efficiency front loader, so I have to help it with my dirtiest shit

I was going to write that they are a non prison made in USA brand, but wanted to check before posting.

I emailed BAYSIDE asking "...Does Bayside use the labor of incarcerated people in its manufacturing or supply chain?..."

Someone called me only a few minutes after I emailed- we spoke for a few minutes and my question was not mentioned or addressed at all by the caller.

They sent an email reply as well, which was "...Thank you for taking my call. You can order Bayside Apparel from one of these websites below..."

Probably most cotton shrits are made with modern slave labor, but I no longer feel good about suggesting their shirts.

HAKRO, Activewear - Teufelberger

The most common high-quality shirt distributed at TCC’s for judges & competitors:
GILDAN, Heavy Cotton

One of my favorite “logo” shirts is the “famous” Limbwalker shirts “distributed” at the 2007 KY TCC after-party:
Anvil, dri-release

I too have always liked the limbwalker logo!
 
I’ve had the opportunity to change the name and logo of my business three times since I’ve moved to different states. I started off with “tree service” to “tree specialists” to finally deciding I needed to incorporate the word “Arborists” into the name. Been happy with that decision.
 
Get all cotton, you‘ll sweat a lot but the poly ones get a BO smell that the material mémorises, so 5 minutes after you put it on in the morning you reek of rancid BO
 

For around 40 years I've worn sythetics amd NEVER needed to do al of that sorting. Work clothes get washed togethter. Maybe a little less clothing to water ratio. Never had an odor or performance issue personally or from any employees use f

Cotton cools...NOT the fiber to use for performance fabrics.

Please share the link to articles that are boosting cotton as a performance fabric

If you're considering cradle to grave use then an old cotton shirt gives its last prformance as a shop rag. Inthispart of its life span out performs synthetic. comeon.....
