A multi-stem alder removal with a rotting base, threat to the neighbors house. Bore-cut a a 35' top in the tree, winched all the brush uphill.

So many limbs on this little toad of a Blue Spruce. Was able to speedline 70% of them to get them facing the right way, but still filled the lz 4 times

Just an old hollow maple I was pokin around inside after taking down to this level! It was easier in there to cut than moving around the outside hahaha
This tree was in a car wash parking lot and dropped a large limb almost pegged their customer before they figured out it was a hazardous tree. Thinking this was circa 2016

Moving wood up the hill with a high lead.

Started pulling with the mini. I think the alternator is possibly going out... moved to the chainsaw- lowered Simpson capstan.

I had to venture outside my subdivision to find this little dead limb removal project. One shot got my line in the perfect crotch 66 feet up, but it also got my line tangled in the sparkleberry next to the tree. Grrr

At least I got in a decent climb and a chance to use the speedline.

Back on the devining project.

After an hour of jerking, cutting, and tossing I can see a difference. The debris pile looks better at the curb.

I'm going to climb to the TIP next time to see if it's easier working from the top down. I don't see how it could possibly be any harder. I'll cut what I can't pull down from higher up, and cut it into smaller pieces as I descend. At least I've got a decent TIP way up...after five shots and much fiddling around with the throw line.

Top down does work better, but climbing past the mass of vines was challenging. The tree is looking pretty good...

and the pile at the curb is looking a LOT better.

One more climb to remove some dead limbs and clean up at the top.
