Yep. Early Gen 2, long frame grapple, with a hyster winch. A kick ass tool! Unfortunately we recently blew up the winch yarding on a 7ft diameter butt log F****ck!@rico Wicked nice skiddah!!! Early 80's 518?
Hope all is well with you Mr T. I know what you mean about Texas.. I worked in Austin in the mid 80's posing as an arborist, trimming trees for a short while and hated it. Lucky for me I had a little trouble with the law and had to flee the scene. Never been back since.Damn Rico, you make me really miss the foothills. Texas is just so flat.

Your correct, that was a bad week for me! Lol don’t forget about the orange saws we both love! It’s rare for me to let anyone touch let alone use mine except @Limb It, even though he’s come to like my 372 & 395XPYou are a man of truly impeccable taste Deevo. Truck colors, Monkeys Beavs, DMM Geckos, etc.. I know you and I got of to a fairly rocky start, but it appears we have many more commonalities than differences. Your a gentleman, a scholar, and one kickass tree-man. Here's looking at ya' Deevo.
Awesome pics. This may be a weird question but what kind of pants do you guys climb in? I have been looking for something lightweight and flexible but also durable.View attachment 38428
Spruced up.
Forgot to add Husky's to the list. You don't happen to be an Angry Ginger like myself by any chance? That would be just to much to call coincidence!Your correct, that was a bad week for me! I sometimes think about the wrath of destroyed old trucks I have left behind. I would be a rich man if I still had 1/2 of them.I had a 72 Blazer K5 I basically gave away when I joined the service. I wish I had taken all the stupid money I spent on things long gone and had it restored while I was overseas. They are going for about 60k restored. That GMC is almost as nice.))))
Cloggers by far are the lightest, pfanner’s are slightly more durable, Arborwear is coming out with some nice ones very soon, had the prototype at the tree expo, look promising, well designed and likely long lasting like all of Arborwears clothingAwesome pics. Thanks alot. Never really thought much about this till recently but I think different clothing is something that will make a big difference in my productivity in the tree.Cloggers by far are the lightest, pfanner’s are slightly more durable, Arborwear is coming out with some nice ones very soon, had the prototype at the tree expo, look promising, well designed and likely long lasting like all of Arborwears clothing
