It does look like it missed most of the structural elements of the house. The difficulty was in the small driveway (and of course large crane) and 102' to the farthest piece. Not to mention the steep slope from the house back (no mini skid access).At least (for the homeowner) it looks like it missed the main house structure. Window, deck and cantilevered portion of the gable roof, yes, but that's all relatively easy. I know a lot of people that live in fear of a large tulip failure such as this.
It took 2 hrs to wiggle the crane in and get it up on the blocks. And rolled out right around 6pm. We also took 6 other "problem" trees while set up and picking.
