ok so now i am not looking for work in ma, but in nj.
have eighteen years experience, competed in jamborees for 13 years. have done most everything in the arborculture industry. i think tom will ok me although our history is not long but i think solid. i am locked in, in my current situation until september but thought i would start looking now.

Are you interested in working for the USDA inspecting trees for Asian Longhorned Beetles? You could apply now and if you are offered the job, you could probably start in September. I worked at my previous job for a month and a half after I accepted the USDA job.

Schwabisch, thanks for applying and good luck. Do you live in or near NJ? When I applied, there were 2 openings and only 2 other people applied. One was from Washington and the other from Georgia. I don't know what happened to them.

I won't know how many applicants there are until after the July 10 application deadline. The applications are reviewed in Minneapolis and they decide who moves on to the interviews.

I wanted to get the word out about this job because I doubt any climbers check usajobs.gov for Federal tree climbing jobs. I'm hoping we get some good people to climb with.
