Winter outerwear for treework

another trick it to use an anti-perspirant on the bottom of your feet, especially where your toes and the sole of your feet join.

sweating is what gives you cold feet.

also those little chemical handwarmers are a beaut! every once in awhile, stick your hands in your pocket to get some real warmth pumping back thru them.

I recently bought some gaitors for in the tree work as well, they seem to be a good choice.

I just bought a little tight fitting beanie from Chaos, polyester with a bit of lycra, tight fitting, perfect for under my vertex.
when on the ground, on goes the Arborwear beanie and midweight jacket :)

Or you could just go for a swim.

Tom ill go for a swim. I have always wanted to do the plunge. I guess I kind of did once when I ran into lake Superior in the middle of winter. But it was about 30 F. out that day

I got a pair of REI Gators this morning while it was -13F outside and my lower legs and feet stayed so warm I had to take them off and let my boss try them out. Im going to assume here that my feet are staying warm because they are keeping my blood in my legs so warm.

getting to be that time of year again. Found this thread on a quick search and had to bump it for those who haven't seen it.
