Where to find aerial rescue training

Matias

Been here much more than a while
Location
Butte County
I have spent a few hours now trying to find an aerial rescue training offered anywhere west of the Rockies, and I have turned up nothing. I found a place called Academy Trained that seems to offer something, but I haven't heard back from them after days, and their answering machine is full.

All first responder programs should be established on a foundation of wilderness first responder. An off-ground rescue is 'the wilderness' even if the tree is on hospital grounds

The transport of the victim once first aid is administered is little different than a delicate limb lower

Too often I';ve seen porgrams that are built on the climb and transport with scant attention given to victim care.

A call to local fire/.rescue teams should direct you to good training sources

They’ve had solid courses in the past, both aerial lift and climbing based rescue, not sure on cost to have them come out.

Otherwise could check IBEW 111, might run AR for their apprenticeship courses.
