Whats your favorite friction saver?

I do not have a picture of it but I had to remove the end of a samson Hawkeye climbing line due to a knick in it. I use a pirates carabiner in the tight eye and an abr #2 ring tied with a scaffold knot on the other end. It does not have a lot of use on it yet but so far I have been liking it. It can be used for doubled rope climbing, srt redirects, or even srt canapoy anchor with knot blocking the ring. Retrieval can be done by clipping a dmm oval into the spliced end of my climb line. Havent had any trouble yet on retriving

Sorry, I forgot about this thread for awhile. I've tried a number of pulleys in that thing, but I usually use a ROOK even though it already has a swivel. It just fits in the canopy anchor's swivel shackle well, and doesn't mind being dragged through crotches.

Any pulley you feel safe on, that fits in the shackle and will pass through the large ring with a little wiggle room, will work. I've used OmniBlock pulleys up to the 1.5" one, and various others, but the Rock Exotica Hydra/Rook is the one I settled on.

I forgot as well, until this thread got bumped. Thanks.
Cool stuff. I can really appreciate the evolution of the device.

This one.
