Seen a few saddles chafing holes from those - is there a trick to using them so mitigates that?
Mines a red one. Haven't seen any wear so far.

I don't give a damn what they have collecting funk between their legs at work, I just want someone who will fucking work.More female workers.
The shembiner is only 24 bucks and is bulletproof. I've had everything from a echo 2511t to a husky 288 hanging off it.
+1 about them working.
I'm ready for battery technology to advance a little farther. Especially in the bigger saws
Been using the electric Husky top handle for about a month. It's been the best thing to happen to me in a long time. I didn't realize how much I hate breathing exhaust all day.
I do have a Shembiner but it takes 2 hands to retrieve my saw. Can't seem to get it off the hook one handed.
Maybe some tinted safety glasses that won't fog over. If it rains all night I can't wear them til about noon.
A self propelled rake sure would make things easier.
"Crane technique. If do right, no can defense." -Mr. Miyagi.I want to see a better way to clean up old dead trees that hit the ground and explode and scatter pencil sized debris over a four square mile area.
I love cranes, but unfortunately not very tree is crane accessible nor will every customer pay for one. So we rake. A lot. And use great big Stihl backpack blowers, but I want a power rake that won’t peel all the grass off too."Crane technique. If do right, no can defense." -Mr. Miyagi.
Sounds like you want one of those giant inflatable crash pads stunt doubles use for jumping off buildingsDropzone mattress that protects the surface underneath and catches the falling wood, eliminating bounce, stows in a large suitcase.
Only smaller and more applicable to what we doSounds like you want one of those giant inflatable crash pads stunt doubles use for jumping off buildings
Doesn't the large ISC rig'n wrench use a one way pulley? I wonder if you could just take off the wrench...I would like to see someone make a Ropeguide type friction saver with a one way pulley. Matt Cornell climbed on something like that at Jambo and I just remember it clicking as he ascended and then it locked and was silent when he descended. Love that concept.
One way blocks might even be a possibility. Best of both worlds. Easy to pull things (or the rope up) but gives friction for lowering.
